The Power of Discipline: An Introduction
Success is not an accident; it is the result of what you do consistently every single day as a daily routine. As the founder of Aura By Zahid and a Level 2 certified fitness trainer, my life is a constant balance between the boardroom and the weight room. Many people ask me how I manage to run a growing fragrance brand while maintaining a physique geared toward hypertrophy. The answer lies in one word: Discipline.
In this blog, I am taking you through my 24-hour cycle. This isn’t just about what I eat or how I lift; it’s about the mindset required to build a lifestyle that serves your goals, your faith, and your future.
The Spiritual Foundation: 5:00 AM – 7:00 AM
My day begins when the rest of the world is still asleep. At 5:00 AM, I wake up for the Fajr prayer. In Islam, the morning hours are blessed, and starting the day with prayer gives me a sense of spiritual alignment that no amount of caffeine can provide.
Immediately after prayer, I focus on my first nutritional intake as per my daily routine. Since I am focused on muscle building and hypertrophy, I cannot afford to miss my macro targets.
- Meal 1 (The Probiotic Start): I consume 500 grams of fresh yogurt. Yogurt is an incredible source of slow-digesting protein and probiotics, which sets a healthy tone for my gut health throughout the day.

Table of Contents
The Hustler’s Breakfast: 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM
By 8:00 AM, my metabolism is revving. This is when I fuel up for the mental tasks ahead.
- Meal 2 (The Energy Plate): Two slices of whole-grain bread topped with two generous spoons of creamy Peanut Butter and 15 raisins (kishmish).
- Supplements: I take my Omega-3 fish oil capsule here. As someone who spends hours on a laptop and in the gym, Omega-3 is non-negotiable for brain function and joint health.
The combination of healthy fats from peanut butter and the natural glucose from raisins provides a steady stream of energy for my first work block.

Building the Brand: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
This is where the entrepreneur in me takes over. I open my laptop and dive into the world of Aura By Zahid. Running a perfume brand in Lahore requires constant attention to detail. During this block, I:
- Manage Orders: Check the WooCommerce dashboard and coordinate with PostEx for shipments.
- Marketing Strategy: Researching TikTok trends and planning vlogs to grow my brand’s digital footprint.
- Product Development: Discussing oil concentrations (maintaining that 40% Extrait de Parfum standard) and packaging aesthetics.
Before the mid-day prayer, I take my most substantial protein-based meal.
- Meal 3 (The Muscle Fuel): Two slices of bread with a 3-egg omelet cooked in large spoons of Desi Ghee. Using Desi Ghee provides the healthy saturated fats needed for hormonal health and testosterone support.

The Mid-Day Reset: 1:30 PM – 4:00 PM
After performing Zohar prayer at 1:30 PM, I prioritize recovery. Many entrepreneurs make the mistake of grinding until they burn out. As a daily routine I sleep for exactly two hours. This nap resets my nervous system and allows my muscles to repair from the previous day’s training.
Upon waking, I return to my business tasksas a daily routine, answering emails and fine-tuning my website’s SEO.
Pre-Workout Preparation: 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Training is the highlight of my day, but you cannot train like a beast if you eat like a bird. My pre-workout nutrition is focused on fast-acting carbs and minerals.
- Pre-Workout Meal: 8 Almonds, 15 Raisins, and 4 Bananas.
Bananas are nature’s power bars, providing potassium to prevent cramps and the energy needed to crush heavy sets. After eating, I perform my Asr prayer at 5:00 PM, clearing my mind before hitting the iron.

The Battlefield: Chest and Triceps (Gym Routine)

I walk into the gym with a plan. Today was Chest and Triceps day, a classic combination for building a powerful upper body.
Chest Routine:
- Flat Bench Barbell Press: 3 Sets (12, 10, 8 reps). I focus on the eccentric phase to maximize muscle fiber recruitment.
- Pec Dec Fly: 3 Sets. This is for the “stretch” and the mind-muscle connection.
- Bodyweight Dips: 3 Sets. The ultimate test of upper body pushing power.
Triceps Routine: - Rope Pushdowns: 3 Sets. I hold the contraction for 1 second at the bottom to torch the lateral head.
- Overhead Dumbbell Extension: 3 Sets. This stretches the long head of the triceps, which is essential for arm thickness.
- Diamond Pushups (Finisher): 3 Sets to failure. This is the “Aura” finisher that leaves the muscles fully pumped.
Post-Workout Recovery: 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM
After Maghrib prayer As per my daily routine, the “Anabolic Window” opens. I need a blend of fast carbs and protein to stop muscle breakdown.
- Post-Workout Shake: 200ml milk blended with 2 bananas, 7 almonds, 5 dates, and 30g of roasted chickpeas and a spoon of Gold Creatine. This is a natural, high-calorie mass gainer that tastes incredible.

The Final Feast & Reflection: 8:00 PM – 9:30 PM
After Isha prayer, I have my final large meal with my family.
- Dinner: 2 bread with 13 raisins with a plate boiled Rice & potatoes and 250 grams of Chicken Leg Piece. As a daily routine ,Chicken is my primary source of lean protein to ensure I am hitting my daily 1.5g per kg target.
Before bed, I have one glass of milk with a few more dry fruits to keep my body in an anabolic state while I sleep. By 9:30 PM, my lights are out.

A Message to You: The Aura of a Hero
“Success isn’t about greatness. It’s about consistency.”
To everyone reading this: You might be at ‘Zero’ today, but the path to ‘Hero’ is paved with the small choices you make every hour. When I started Aura By Zahid, I didn’t have all the answers. When I first walked into the gym, I didn’t have the strength. What I had was a Routine.
Stop waiting for the “perfect moment” or the “perfect feeling” to start your business or your fitness journey. Motivation is a feeling that fades, but Discipline is a choice that stays.Whether it’s waking up for Fajr when it’s cold, or hitting that last set of Dips when your chest is burning—that is where the character is built.
Build your routine, protect your peace, and never let anyone tell you that you can’t be an entrepreneur and an athlete at the same time. You are the architect of your own life. Start building.
